Production
Ideas for a sequel began right after the Black Panther became a massive hit in 2018. Director Coogler showed disinterest in making a sequel, but Marvel Studios convinced him to return as a director for Sequel’s Development. In March 2021, Nyong’o said the sequel would not be like the previous one, and the director is all set to show different storylines. She added we all know about Boseman’s Legacy and dedicated our performances to him to give a good output for the film. Director Ryan Coogler appointed Joe Robert Cole to join him for the scriptwriting works. On June 2021, Principal Photography sessions were started in Georgia. Due to the sudden death of cast members, the shooting got delayed. Also, pandemic issues pushed the movie shooting dates frequently. Finally, the Movie team rescheduled the next shooting phase for November 2021. Marvel Studios is the production company spending $200 million on the Making. Kevin Feige invested the money for the Making.
