Laal Singh Chaddha is the remake of the American Film Forrest Gump. Already, Forrest Gump received the Oscar Award in the year 1995 and now Amir Khan is acting in a Bollywood remake. This movie was taken as a comedy-drama film and it was directed by Advait Chandan.
AmirKhan productions and Viacom18 Studios are producing this film. Historic events in India like National Emergency, the 1983 Cricket World Cup, the 1999 Kargil War, and more are included in this film. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan also appears in a cameo role in this film.

Laal Singh Chaddha (2022) – What to Expect?
The trailer offers a glimpse to all the viewers about how this film is going to show the historical events, timelines, spanning cities, and more. The opening line in the trailer shows Life is like a Golgappa. It’s an iconic Indian sweet and if you start eating it, your heart always demands more even after your tummy goes full. The movie is produced by Aamir Khan and Atul Kulkarni did the screenwriting works. Advait Chandan is the director of the movie and you can expect a good classic comedy scene and drama throughout the movie.
Aamir Khan is giving the voice in the trailer and it shows miracles are going to happen in the real life. The question is whether Aamir Khan going to speak in Hindi or Punjabi throughout the film because he is acting as a Punjabi citizen with the turben and fingers are crossed to see him in the big theatres in the upcoming August 2022. As this movie already won the Oscar Award for the making in 1994 in Hollywood, Aamir Khan will surely give a big hit in the Bollywood industry. Also, viewers will feel the Indian Masala with the help of Atul Kulkarni’s writing.
All the characters shown in the trailer look promising and Kareena Kapoor is hoped to give a good comeback in this film. I believe Advait the director did the best work with the remake version of the original Robert Zemeckis film. Laal Singh Chaddha’s movie is set to release on the upcoming August 11, 2022. Dubbed Versions are also available in the Tamil and Telugu Languages. Earlier, the movie was planned to be released by Dec 2020 but due to the post-pandemic effect, the release date was delayed. Distribution rights in India are given to Viacom18 productions and international distributions are going to be done through Paramount pictures.

Music
The songs featured in the film are done by Music Director Pritam. Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the songs for the film. The Music discussions were held at Aamir Khan’s house back in the year 2019. The title track song of Aamir Khan in this film was recorded by Mohan of the Agnee band in Jan 2020. Totally 5 songs were added to this film, and titles of the songs are Kahani, Main Ki Karaan? Phir Na Aisi Raat Aayegi, Tur Kalleyan, Kahani (Sonu’s Version). Singers including Mohan Kannan, Sonu Nigam, Arjit Singh, Romy, and Shadaab Faridi sang the songs for the film Laal Singh Chaddha.
Production
In August 2018, Aamir Khan announced that he is going to remake the American Drama Forrest Gump and he banged the remake rights in the same year. Aamir Khan is going to play the Lead Role in the film and Kareena Kapoor is the Heroine of the film. Atul Kulkarni wrote the Hindi Adaptation of the original version.
Kulkarni stated in one of his recent interviews that he had already written the script 10 years back and Aamir Khan didn’t show an interest to read my script. After a few years, he read the script and was immediately shown the green light to take the film. Again it took around 8 years to bang the remake rights to make this film in Bollywood.
Laal Singh Chaddha is filmed in more than 100 locations in India. Shooting started in Chandigarh and was completed within 21 days. The second schedule got completed in the Kolkata location back in Dec 2019. The third schedule started on 21st Dec 2019 in Jaisalmer, Himachal Pradesh, and Goa. The last set of shooting got completed in Punjab in Mar 2020.
