Agent Akhil Akkineni’s action-packed Movie is about a rebel agent story. According to the reports, this highly anticipated spy thriller is all about destruction, and Mammotty is doing the investigation. Mammotty is the head of the National Security Agency, and he needs to catch Akhil to stop his collapse. As we all saw in the first look, Akhil looks furious and puts himself in destruction mode. In the teaser, Mammotty says he is one of the ruthless patriots and most notorious Agents. Superstar Mammootty revealed the movie’s preview in Malayalam, and Akhil Akkineni launched the teaser in the Telugu Industry. Agent Movie is set to release in your nearby theatres on August 12, 2022. The Agent movie was planned to be released by J24 December 2021. Still, as we all know, the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak didn’t make the team schedule as per their previous plan. The production team decided to set the release date as August 12, 2022, for the Agent Movie. The dubbed versions of this Agent Movie are available in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada.

Production
Akhil’s officially announced that he is going to work with Surrender Reddy in a new film back in the year 2020. Later in April 2021, the Movie team officially Launched the title and posters for the Agent Movie. As it was Akhil’s birthday, the team conducted a Pooja Ceremony to start the production and movie-making works. The first set of shootings is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad Location. Mammootty joined the crew in October 2021. Once he completed his portions in Hyderabad, he returned to the Mollywood Industry to do the rest of the signed films.
In March 2022, action sequences were shot in the Metro stations in Hyderabad. The following month, the production team shot action sequences at the Visakhapatnam location, mainly near port areas. In April 2022, the whole team shifted to the Himachal Pradesh Location to shoot the rest of the sequences under the Vijay Choreography.
As of May 2022, most of the movie works got completed. The team reported there might be a delay in the theatrical release in August Month. But there is no official confirmation regarding the same, so we can expect a release in the theatres in August 2022.
